22 Momme — explained
"Momme" is a Japanese unit that measures the density of silk. Below 16 momme silk feels thin and translucent; above 25 it becomes heavy and stiff. We choose 22 momme — substantial enough to drape elegantly and survive dozens of washes, light enough to let the skin breathe. It is the weight on which Como ateliers build their signature pyjamas.
Care
Hand-wash at 30°C with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent — or in a mesh bag on the wool cycle. Do not wring, do not tumble dry. Iron at low temperature on the inside. Store in a dark, dry place.
